You may remember Samantha and Ajax from their engagement photos a few months back. More recently I got to spend an amazing day up near Battleground, Washington with these two as they made it official.

Everything about the day was perfect: the weather was ideal, the ceremony was gorgeous and perfectly nestled between towering trees and a beautiful creek, the gourmet pizza was mind-bogglingly good, and Sam and AJ were as in love as ever.

I still can’t get over how stunning Sam looked. It was almost as if she’d jumped right out of a fairytale. I could tell that AJ agreed with me, and I don’t think he took his eyes off her for more than a few seconds all day.

As usual, the day ended with me feeling very warm and fuzzy inside – full of hope for marriages everywhere and full of gratitude toward Sam and AJ for letting me be a part of their big day and picking me as their wedding photographer.
