We braved an ominous looking weather report and headed down to the Portland Waterfront for Kim and Chris’s engagement session. I love the bridge backgrounds!

Becca & Jason

March 22, 2011

Becca and Jason drove up all the way from Cottage Grove for their engagement session – and I’m so happy that they did!   It was a bit chilly, but it didn’t phase them in the least and their session turned out  beautifully!   The winter rains let up just long enough and the cloud cover made for some awesome lighting as we made our way through the Pearl District. Here’s my picks:

Stan & Mary

March 21, 2011

They might not be 21 anymore, but these two are just as in love as any engaged couple I’ve ever photographed. Stan and Mary are so grateful for eachother that it made photographing them an absolute joy. I’m thrilled to be a part of their big day this Spring!

Karen & Brian

March 20, 2011

Allow me to introduce Karen & Brian – I had the pleasure to spend an hour downtown with them for their engagement session last week and loved every second of it. They’re such a relaxed, genuine, and fun couple – the kind of people that everybody wants to be friends with. Here’s a few of my favorites:

Sari and Joey: Sneak Peak

February 15, 2011

I’m not sure if  “darlingest” is an actual word, but if it is then Sari and Joey are one of the darlingest couples I’ve ever photographed. Rustic, country style sessions are always some of my favorites and with amazing subjects like these two it couldn’t have been much better!  Enjoy the sneak peak!

Let’s just put it this way:  these two made my job EASY. They needed almost no coaching and it was so natural for them that it felt more like a model shoot than an engagement session! Not to mention,  my favorite sessions are the ones in which I feel like I become friends with my clients over the hour that they’re in front of my camera – this was defintiely one of them.  Thanks guys, I had a blast!
