First off, a great big thank you to all of my senior reps! It’s been a blast getting to know you and drag you all over Portland for your senior pictures. I couldn’t do this without you guys and I’m so very grateful for your trust in me and your hard work. Below, I’ve posted some of my favorite shots of y’all and let me just say that you are one good lookin’ crew! I’m so thrilled (and a little jealous) for all of you as you start your last year of  High School!

Secondly, we still have a few August appointments open and lots in September. If you’re looking for a photographer for your senior pictures, give me a call! I’d absolutely love to chat with you about our packages and my favorite shooting locations. You can even schedule a free consulation to come in to the studio to talk about specifics and check out my senior albums from past years to get inspired!

With the school year winding down, I figured a congratulatory blog post was definitely in order for all of my ‘08-’09 seniors! A high school diploma is no small accomplishment, and I’m so excited for each of you as you turn the corner and prepare for the new and exciting chapters coming up in your lives. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be your photographer, I truly had a blast getting to meet and work with all of you. It wasn’t all that long ago that I was picking out the photographer for my senior pictures and I know that it’s an important decision! It means a lot to me that you would trust me with such an important job. So again, Congratulations - I wish you all the best. Relatedly, I expect that all 88 of you will be calling me to shoot your weddings when the time comes! Don’t be strangers!

*Bonus points if you can find your picture!

Meghan is just about the sweetest girl I have ever met.   Our shoot was in downtown Portland and she showed up in the adorable lime green skirt seen below.  Some of the first words out of her mouth were “This skirt twirls really well, and I really like twirling!” Right off the bat I knew the shoot was going to be a blast. You see, I just happen to love twirling too! Usually when I ask  girls to twirl in front of my camera they look at me like I’m crazy, but not Meghan. In fact she even reminded me half way through the shoot that she hadn’t gotten to twirl yet, just so I wouldn’t forget.

Meghan is heading off to U of O next year and her next big adventure. With an infectious smile and her ability to radiate happiness out of every one of her pores, I don’t see how she could be anything but successful.

Thanks for the chance to photograph you Meghan! Have a great summer and best of luck as you become a UO Duck!
